Trial License Problem
It appears that I am experiencing a few problems concerning the activation of my trial license thru the registration screen. I have attempted to purchase the trial license and although I receive an email stating that the Pervasive Data Tools license is ready, it never appears on my account screen or in the datatools license check screen. I've launched the purchase from the DataTools launcher, so there should be no problem with the user id and password.

Problem Solved.
It was not the Windows firewall that was causing the problem. It was the pop-up blocker. Turned the pop-up blocker off and all is well.
I have another question. I see that the trial version is limited to 100 records. Is this limit per file or the total number of records that can be converted per trial license. I ask this because we are currently converting our mainframe cobol application to run on windows servers and this involves testing the EBCDIC to ASCII conversion of many files.
I will have to either trim down each file to a few records, or run the full file thru the converter and just anticipate the the first 100 records in each file will be converted.

The DataTools trial license 100-record limit applies to the number of records that can be converted in each transformation map. So, if your testing requires, say, 5 maps, it will convert 100 records in each map for a total of 500 records.
