Inactive Lisense
Hi,
yesterday I purchased the trial version of the dataviewer but the Data launch tool shows the License is inactive.
How can I activate the license to use the dataviewer?
Operating System: WIN XP SP2 (Germany)

Hi Joerg,
The most likely cause for the problem you are experiencing with the expiration date of your trial license file is the system date format on your workstation.
If you can set the system date on your workstation to a “USA” format – at least temporarily – I think the problem would be resolved. Try setting your system date to use the “mm/dd/yyyy” format, and let me know if that works.

thank you for your suggestion but the change of the date to a “USA” format doesn`t work.

I thought the new and corrected trial license file I sent to you worked. If that is not true, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you need another trial license for testing or if you are ready to purchase the product, please log into the DataTools web site and use the shopping cart to purchase the license. Once that license has been generated, I will make the needed correction to the spelling of your name (using UTF-8 characters only) and send you the corrected license file.
