Exe check icError upon starting datatools

Hi,
My demo version of pervasive data tools hangs upon starting. I get the check licensing files then I get the following error:

Exe check icError: Name not Resolved.

This locks up the program and I cannot exit out. It worked one time, the first time, then I tried to install the client module and now it locks up all the time. I have read the forum topics and checked my installation.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
